Vinted
Vinted pushed us to create music as fun and quirky as their advert. We responded with a fusion of pop and electronics to design a soundtrack to fit their visuals.

Project Title: “Too Many”
Objective:
The project aimed to create a vibrant and engaging soundscape that elevated the visuals of Vinted’s commercial. The sound design emphasised the simplicity and joy of buying and selling second-hand items, while reflecting Vinted’s modern, community-driven ethos and leaving a positive, lasting impression on viewers.
Music Integration:
Music played a pivotal role in driving the commercial’s energy and setting its tone. Killian Wright, in conjunction with the support of Lambda Films created a lively, upbeat track that resonated with Vinted’s youthful and fun brand identity. The music’s dynamic tempo brought cohesion to the fast-paced editing, creating natural peaks and pauses to highlight key moments. Careful timing ensured that transitions and actions aligned with the rhythm of the track, enhancing the overall flow and engagement. The music was mixed to balance energy and warmth, allowing it to complement, rather than overshadow, the visuals and other audio elements.
Approach to Sound Design:
The sound design mirrored the playful and approachable tone of the commercial. Rhythmic sound effects added texture to actions like folding, sorting, and packaging, reinforcing the hands-on experience of using Vinted.
Scene transitions were accented with light swooshes and pops, bringing energy and movement to the visuals. Layered ambient soundscapes brought life to different environments, from cozy indoor closets to the phone app. Subtle app-inspired sound cues, like notifications and transaction pings, underscored the ease and satisfaction of using the Vinted platform.
Logo Animation Sound Design:
The commercial concluded with Vinted’s logo animation, paired with a cheerful and memorable audio signature to reinforce brand recognition and leave a lasting impression.
Tone and Style:
The overall tone of the sound was fresh, playful, and approachable, perfectly aligned with Vinted’s modern and sustainable brand. Every auditory element was chosen to evoke a sense of joy, ease, and connection.
